Women love to receive romantic gifts, but once you discount the clichéd flowers and chocolates . . . what can you give her? We’ve got a few ideas to help you out.

1. Write her a poem. Touching, romantic and the perfect way to impress a girl. Have the poem written in gold ink calligraphy and framed for her, or laser etched into a crystal block.

2. Her name in chocolate. Talk to a chocolate shop in your area about personalized chocolate confections and have them create your babe’s name in her favorite kind of chocolate for a really sweet and romantic gift.

3. A hand-blown glass rose. Or a whole bouquet of glass flowers. They will last longer than real roses and are so much more elegant. Combine these with the chocolate name mentioned above and you have a very special gift.

4. Gold hearts necklace. Jewelry is always a popular romantic gift. Make yours extra special by having it custom made with two interlocking hearts and a special inscription. Add a diamond or two and she’ll fall for you all over again.

5. A personalized journal. Get her a very special journal, bound in leather, with her name inscribed on the cover. Make it even more romantic by including a little note inside and having a photo of the two of you set into the front cover.

6. A bouquet of cookies inscribed with romantic messages. You can buy custom cookie bouquets of heart shaped cookies that are brightly iced with fun or romantic messages that you can personalize. This makes a thoughtful (and yummy!) gift.

7. Create a romantic evening kit. Fill a heart-shaped basket with scented candles, a silk robe, a cd of romantic tunes and anything else you can think of. For a slightly naughty take on the romantic evening, drop in some massage oil and chocolate body paint.

8. Diamond earrings. Diamonds are one of the most romantic gifts you can give a girl and you can make them even more so by buying her earrings that are shaped like hearts! Either studs or dangling earrings are available in romantic designs, depending on what style she enjoys wearing.

9. Lingerie. A beautiful lingerie from Victoria’s Secret is always a hit with the ladies. The best way to find out what suits her is to leave the catalog lying around and she’ll probably point out what she likes! Buy it secretly and tuck a handful of chocolate hearts into the package before giving it to her for an extra romantic touch.

10. A bottle of memories. For couples who have a little history together, take an elegant bottle (perhaps the champagne or wine bottle from your first date?) and fill it with slips of parchment on which you have written individual memories of your time together.

Chocolate, flowers and jewelry are some of the best romantic gifts, but you don’t want to give your girl something she’s already seen a million times. These gift ideas will let you be romantic while giving her a little something special.

    Sorry but I think all of them are cheesy and boring. I would never wear or use anything heart shaped and I think edible gifts are a bit…passe.

    Great gifts for a sugar babe from a sugar daddy:

    1. If she loves flowers, arrange for her to be sent flowers every week for a year. She will always have beautiful, fresh flowers that remind her of you, although you may not get to see each other every day.

    2. If she likes jewellery (not all women do), arrange to take her to a prestigious jeweller and have her design her own piece or pick out whatever she wants!

    3. If you don’t like where she lives, because it’s a bad neighborhood, buy her a condo or find her a better apartment. Nothing says I care about you and your well-being more than arranging for her to live somewhere nice and secure.

    4. Buy her a better, newer car.

    5. Take her shopping…in Paris.

    6. Weekly professional massages for her or both of you :)

    What I’m trying to say is think outside of the heart shaped box. Sometimes romance is about getting her something she could never otherwise do or purchase on her own. As her sugar daddy, that is your responsability. I’m sure that she will be more than greatful for how you make her life better, more luxurious and more exciting!

    Personally I do not like flowers as gifts, since they’re temporary and to cliche. The list CanadianBeauty named are finer gifts to give to one’s SB. Gifts like those are more meaningful, and a great way to impress her.

    I disagree with all of you…. all here is buy her this buy her that. What about him how are planning to make him happy? a real men who really know what they wants would never buy your story. Dating and love is not all about money and gifts its affections, love, romance…. Come on open your eyes the real women are out there they just waiting for one to come and rescue them with some beautiful love romantic letters and poetry. All I’m saying is just to open your eyes see who’s playing and you who are not playing you. Example: try telling her that you’re broke and see what she says….
